  • This wine is made from Cannonau, Carignano, Cabernet Sauvignon and Muristellu grapes. 
  • Maceration of the skins in the must is extended to around three weeks to allow the transfer of noble compounds and colour. It is matured for twelve/sixteen months in French oak barrels then allowed to rest after bottling for a few more months to bring out its full personality. 
  • The wine is ruby red tending to garnet, and has aromas of ripe red fruits and jam with notes of Mediterranean maquis. It is elegant and smooth in the mouth with a long, persistent finish. 
  • A wine for hearty roast meats, grilled meats, and semi-hard cheeses.

  • PLACE OF ORIGIN: Gallura, Sardinia. The vineyards lie amidst hills, bathed in sunshine and caressed by the maestrale wind that clears the air as it blows from the Straits of Bonifacio, softening the dazzling splendour of the Costa Smeraldaand gathering energy from the granite sands of the Juannisolu and Capichera hills, the clays of the Pastura and Cascioni plains, and the fragrances of the Mediterranean maquis in the Surrau Valley. The winery is a few kilometres from the Costa Smeralda, on the road from Arzachena to Porto Cervo. The wines are destined for the global market, and steeped in its aromas and flavours they are the ambassadors of this rugged land of Gallura.
